Nothing happens in isolation. There is always a beginning in every phenomenon we see in the world today. Hence, the fashion shows and fiestas being celebrated have wonderful historical antecedents.

Etymologically, history has it that the first recorded fashion show event was organized in America in the year 1903 in the famous New Your city. This took place in the fashion establishment of  the group known as Ehrlich Brothers. These were the then top American fashion designers and dealers who were said to have imported the fashion show idea from abroad before the down of the 20th century.

From the above, it is very clear that fashion shows have been existing before the one that happened in New York in 1903. In Italy, the city of Milan is the center for regular international fashion fiestas and shows. These Milan events have been there for a very long time. Milan is the centre of fashion attraction in the entire European continent. The city recently launched the first ever online fashion training school since the existence of the whole Italian region.

The city of London is another centre for fashion shows. The shows organized there are as old as the history of London itself. The shows have come to be part and parcel on the London culture for a very long time now

The city of Tokyo, Japan is also another historical haven for fashion shows. It is a centre for the movement of the various fashion trends across Asia and beyond.

Finally, in Africa, the city of Johannesburg in South Africa and Lagos in Nigeria are the centers for wonderful fashion shows.

In all, fashion show history is as old as major cities of the world. It is a veritable tool in fashion propaganda.
