Welcome to Lethbridge

Lethbridge is Alberta's fourth largest city and the home of the wind. Well the part about the wind isn't really true but people who live here might have no trouble believing it is true. Lethbridge is the largest city in Alberta South, it sits in between the prairies and the mountains and partakes in the benefits of both. Have fun caching in Lethbridge. Lethbridge is also the site of the Lethbridge Cachers Forum. This forum was created by Lethbridge geocacher GarAr and the GAS project was very happy to accept his offer of a chat area. Feel free to offer comments. Please register, it is easy and helps to promote this activity.

Lethbridge is one of Canada's most important agricultural areas, ongoing research programs across the Canadian prairie originate and are directed from Lethbridge. Lethbridge has some excellent geocaches and most of them are concentrated in the river bottom, there are a lot of good geocaches placed in parks along the Oldman River. A favourite spot in Lethbridge is the Helen Schuler Nature Center people enjoy this area. Almost all of the geocaches in Lethbridsge are suitable for family fun, The most visible site in Lethbridge is the train bridge and it is the reason Lethbridge is called the Bridge City. Lethbridge sits at the junction of three highways, the Crowsnest Route, Highway #3, The Red Coat Trail, Highway #4 and Highway #5. The Welcome to Lethbridge sign is along Highway 3, the Crowsnest Route. This highway is a major east west route that is south of the TransCanada, a lot of people prefer this route. Spectacular scenery and great locations are all accessed easily along this route.

Thanks for the Forum space Gary, I really appreciate it and I think we can make a good spot for local information. I think we might see some more traffic once the GAS Geocoin hits caches around the world. I will put a few more redirects in. We can rework the website easily.
